As the year winds down, I find myself in a reflective space. It’s a time to reflect on the months behind us and ask ourselves: Have I truly lived this year? For me, the answer lies in one guiding principle I’ve committed to over the last few years—being part of Team No Regret.
What Does Team No Regret Mean?
For me, it’s more than a catchy phrase. It’s a mindset. It’s about living with intention, staying connected to the people I care about, and creating meaningful experiences that will outlast the fleeting moments of time.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
When someone pops into my mind, I act on it. A quick text, a phone call, or even an email—small gestures that remind people they matter.
I prioritize memory-making with my loved ones, especially my mom, who celebrated turning 75 this year.
Living Intentionally: What This Year Taught Me
I’m proud of how my family has leaned into creating memories together this year. We’ve had some incredible experiences that remind me just how short and precious life is.
We took my mom to the Tennessee Aquarium, her favorite place. Seeing her face light up reminded me of the joy in simple things.
We made it to the beach twice, soaking in the sun and creating laughter-filled moments.
She traveled to Virginia to hear me speak—a moment of pride for both of us.
We took an impromptu trip to Maryland so she could visit her older sister.
And now, we’re planning to find snow somewhere on the East Coast because that’s next on her list of experiences she wants to have.
Each trip, each memory, is my way of saying, I see you, I cherish you, I honor our time together.
Why Living with Intention Matters
Life is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and none of us know what tomorrow holds. That’s why living with intention is so important. It’s about:
Prioritizing people over distractions
Saying “YES” to experiences instead of waiting for the “perfect time”
Showing love in action, not just words
How You Can Embrace Team No Regret
If you’re wondering how to live more intentionally, here are some simple steps to start:
Follow Through on Connections: The next time someone pops into your mind, reach out. You never know how much that moment of connection could mean to them—or to you.
Plan a Memory-Making Experience: It doesn’t have to be big or expensive. A walk in the park, a shared meal, or a road trip can be just as meaningful.
Live in the Present: Stop waiting for the “right time.” The right time is now.
A Final Thought
As we approach the end of the year, I encourage you to reflect on how you’re living. Are you creating memories, loving your people well, and living with intention?
Life is short. Our job is to live it fully. Ride the ups and downs, cherish the people you’ve been given, and make every moment count.
Here’s to finishing the year strong—filled with intention, gratitude, and love.
Best Regards,
